Math Winter Camp: A Middle School and High School Math Enrichment Series

This December Recess, A Place For Youth will be hosting a special math enrichment series. Our dedicated team of mathematics tutors will be covering a mathematics curriculum for Middle School Students reviewing Math Grades 3-8 from 10AM-12PM. As well as a second session for High School Students covering a SAT/ACT Test prep curriculum from 1-3PM. The enrichment workshop will be hosted at A Place For Youth Monday, Dec 16th through Friday, Dec 20th. We will be offering snack/lunch from 12P-1PM

Special (Month of March) Series: MATH MADNESS

15 hours

Go over practice problems, concepts, and lessons covering Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Pre-Calculus.

A wonderful opportunity to brush up on your math skills, learn new hacks and tricks, and obtain knowledge that might have been missed! We understand the classroom settings can be stressful and pacing can feel difficult to manage. Spend a fun Saturday with our educators and math tutors.

Raffles and prizes will be awarded!!! Let's get our math ON!!!

December 14th Community Cleanup Coalition Meet up @ APFY

This initiative aims to connect us with our neighbors & beautify our neighborhood.
Meet at APFY located at 4901 W Jefferson Blvd
Depart APFY at 9AM sharp. Rain or Shine!

The coalition will clean up near W Jefferson Blvd/La Brea Blvd/West Adams Blvd/Exposition Blvd and near Rancho Cienega Park + Vineyard Park depending on route.

@ 1030AM we meet with Africactive Team at Rancho Cienega Park to volunteer at their weekly food distribution
@1PM all volunteers + team are provided lunch!
